Christmas Cracker Tag!

Today I decided to come to my grandparents house because I can. I walked in and my Uncle from out of town was here! He wasn't supposed to get her till Monday! (or so I thought!) And my grandma was rolling Orange Balls. (What is an orange ball you ask? Well its this really good...I cant really describe it. Its seriously so top secret no one besides my grandma knows the recipe.) And with all of these things adding up I finally felt Christmas. (Despite the 67 degree weather outside. Welcome to the south.) So, anyways I was browsing other people's blogs since I am new here to the blogging world. I found this really neat tag that I just thought I should do because Christmas. I found this tag on City Mermaid's blog and here is the link! HERE IT IS

1.) What's on your Christmas list?

-This year I was really hard to shop for and I know it. I couldn't think of a thing I wanted. I told my grandma scarves and I gave her a list of like 5 books. I just couldn't think of anything I wanted!

2.) What's on your Christmas Day agenda?
-On Christmas Day my family (mom, dad, sister, and baby brother) all get up and open presents at our house in the living room. Then we eat candy or anything we desire that we got that morning. (Sometimes we actually have like cereal or something but mostly its just candy.) Then we all take our time to get ready and then go to my Grandparents. This is always where we have the biggest stuff. My whole family is there (my mom's side. We don't really see my dad's side because both of his parents have passed away). We open presents and then eat. After that we kinda just take a nap till supper or "play" with what we acquired that day.

3.) How much Christmas shopping have you done?
-I have gotten everything but something for my uncle. I am clueless still on what to get him...

4.) What's been your biggest ever surprise gift?
-My parents always tried to make sure we had at least one big surprise each year so its really hard to choose one. But there are a couple that stick out in my mind. When I was really young my grandparents got me and my sister desks to play school with. Another year My dad built us a Go-cart when I was about 10... maybe? And when I was in 8th grade my great grandmother payed for my 8th grade trip to Charleston, S.C. Prior to this I didn't think I was going to be able to go because we couldn't afford it. All I remember is crying and crying I was so happy.

5.) When do you usually put up your Christmas tree?

-At my grandparents? Usually the first week of December.

6.) Do you have a special outfit planned for Christmas Day?

-Most of the time at my house we get an outfit that morning and we wear that.So I will probably do that. (Fun fact- Last Christmas I was bloated and didn't fit in the pants my mom got me. Or the boots. And the shirt made me look fat. So last Christmas I wore my PJ's we get on Christmas Eve all day. Along with a face with no makeup and my glasses. I was very glam last year.)

7.) Do you have any plans for Boxing Day?
-Uh considering I had to ask what "Boxing Day" was...No...

8.) When did you stop believing in Father Christmas?
-What do you mean? Like Santa? I hate when people pretend he's not real. Of course he's real!

9.) What's your favorite Christmas scent? (Candle/Perfume)
-I really love any of the winter collection from Bath and Body works.

10. What do you love most about Christmas?
-I really just love the unity it brings. My family comes together to get away from their real lives for some quality time together. I really love my family. I also really like the food. My grandmother is the best cook! Again I say, Ya girl gotta eat.

Okay so this is the end of this tag and I am off to go to this big lights show/petting zoo/Christmas stuff with the sweetheart. I will post about it tomorrow! Have a great rest of the day!

I am not going to tag any one specific but you should do this tag! (Okay I lied. I am tagging Sydney because best friends can do that)

Love Always,

Elizabeth
