Hi guys! So I know I don't do a lot of movie reviews but thats just because I don't exactly go to the movies often! haha But Last night a friend of mine and I went to eat and to see Endless Love. I will tell you, it is so much better to go with a girl friend than with your man to see chick flicks (unless he likes chick flicks. Which some guys do. And if your guy does, HANG ON TO HIM!). Ayways I was just saying that if we go to see a chick flick, Aaron is miserable the whole time.

The movie stars Alex Pettyfer and Gabriella Wilde. First off let me say I didnt know that Gabriella exsisted. Now I am pretty sure she is the most gorgeous person ever. And Alex Pettyfer isn't that bad ;) Here are some of my favorite movie stills/pictures.
So plot of this movie: The story is set in Georgia. (Why are all love stories in the south?) The movie opens on a high school graduation. You learn the male lead, David (Pettyfer) is and has been in love with Jade for four years (throughout high school). He also says that after her older brother died when they were in 10th grade, she has had her nose in a book. From the start you can tell that Jade is from a wealthy family and David is just average. Jade and David "meet" at a restaurant that David works at and Jade's family is eating at. Shortly after that, they become inseparable. Well the conflict? There is a few things. 1.) Jade and her family were obviously scarred when they lost their eldest brother/son only 2 years ago. So the wounds arent fresh but they aren't closed either. 2.) Jade is attending Brown University in the Fall to study Pre-Med. David plans to work at the mechanics shop his father owns in town instead of going the college route. 3.) Jade's dad. He doesn't think that David is good enough for his daughter and makes it very obvious. 4.) I cant tell you the rest because that would ruin the movie. "She had the world at her feet while he didn't have two dimes to rub together." Fits the description right? But that quote is from the Notebook. So the first 45 minutes of the movie I was like...ugh they are trying to create The Notebook...JUST STOP! But then some twist and turns happen. Lets just say the family in the film has so many problems and the worst luck EVER.
Overall this movie is a "summer romance", "coming of age", "losing innocence", kinda movie. I love these kind of movies! They just make me happy :) But I do have a few complaints about this one though. I feel like the "love" process went really fast. Like it was like BAM we're in love. But hey I guess that's how summer romance movies work. Oh and I have to complain to say that Gabriella Wilde is toooooooo stinkin pretty.
So overall, I rate this movie a 9 out of 10. It was pretty good and I for sure never knew what was going to happen next. Especially within the last 45 minutes... So if you're looking for a good romantic movie to see, I for sure recommend this one!!! :)
