Green eggs and Homework.

I feel like I haven't done a "Journey Post" in forever. Maybe because its been FOREVER! But honestly I am the most boring person.
Lets start with two weekends ago. I decided that for Aaron and I's 3 year anniversary we would do the Color Run together. Lets just say, since we started dating, Aaron has begged me to go running with him. Well, after 3 years I decided I would give it a try. I am quite (okay VERY) out of shape. Lets just say I was so out shape that if something were chasing me, I probably let it get me instead of running from it... I started last Sunday. I am doing a plan I found on the Color Run website. I really hope to run the whole thing...So...the point of telling yall that was to let you know I am starting a running journey. I might blog every now and then to tell you guys how I am doing!
Last weekend was literally the most boring weekend ever. I mean I didn't do anything but schoolwork. I barely even left my house. Its kinda embarrassing. I left my house Sunday to get a tea from McDonalds. That's I accidentally spilled all over my school books. Lets just say, I am still trying to get make sure my rental books aren't ruined. I have started watching Desperate Housewives again! I was obsessed over this show last summer but I got to season seven and stopped because I didn't want it to end! But I just want to know what happens! I also painted my nails Sunday! I painted them a cream color (Fresh linen by Essie) with metallic rose gold polka dots (Penny Talk by Essie). I am so in love with this combo I don't know what to do with myself!

Now for the beginning of the week. Monday I had one class from 10-11:15. It got out at 11. So my Grandmother was in the town I attend school in (No, the college I attend is not in the town I live in...) so I called her and asked her if she wanted to get lunch before I had to be at work at one. She said yes and we decided to go to IHOP! I hadn't been to IHOP in forever. It was FANTASTIC. Like the unhealthy five year old that I am, I got the chocolate chocolate-chip funny face pancake off the children's menu! It ALWAYS fills me up and makes me happy! So after lunch with my grandma, I went to work. My 7 little angels are back down to 6 again. :( My oldest boy moved up to the 3 year old room :( And I had an angel out that day so I only had FIVE! What an awesome Monday! :)

So Today, Tuesday I finished up my window at work. (see pictures below). My window is divided so as you can see I did a "March theme" on the other side I did a Dr Seuss side. I cant pick which side I like better! I also only had 5 angels on Tuesday. They were GREAT! So I may have mentioned this before, but for some reason my school decided it was a good idea to make spring break a WEEK before we are out for summer. So I don't have "Spring Break" till late April. :( So right now all my classes are piling up the work and I am getting very overwhelmed with everything I have to get done in such a small time frame!!

So Wednesday should be a great day and I am looking forward to it! HELLO MARCH WEDNESDAY! :)

  1. What a cute March-themed window. I love having lunch with my grandmother!

  2. Doing the color run together is such a fun idea! I don't run either, but everybody says its a fun run to do because you just walk/dance the whole time! Tyler is dying to do a 5K together for something fun to do but I am NOT a runner at all haha. I hope you guys have fun!!

  3. Good luck with the color run! At least you will have your man running it right there next to you, that will help a lot. Joe and I were going to do it one year, signed up and everything, then forgot to go ha ha.

  4. Your Dr. Seuss pictures are so cute! I hope you enjoy the Color Run! I hate running too, but maybe he will let you walk part of it. :)

  5. Those Dr. Seuss decorations are so cute! I hate running, too, but I've always thought a color run would be fun!

I read EVERY SINGLE COMMENT! And respond to all of them! I love hearing for you!!! (Make sure you arent a No-Reply blogger! Google should be able to help you fix this if you are!)
