St. Patrick's Day treats! (DIY/How to!)

So lets start off with the fact that I am part Irish (and Scottish and Welsh but that's besides the point!) So I have always liked St Patty's Day! Know what I love more than St Pattys day? St Patricks day FOOD! So I am going to share a few of my favorite recipes with you! :)
The first food I want to share is Green eggs! These also can go along with Dr. Seuss's birthday!
All you do for this one is add 2 to 3 drops of BLUE food coloring to the eggs and cook them in the style that you want! (I prefer and think it works best with scrambled...But whatever floats your boat!)

Another recipe is one I made WAY BACK WHEN. I think I may have made it with my mom one year? Well while Girl Scout cookies are still lingering in front of all your favorite stores, why not put them to good use? I found this recipe that is almost SPOT on to the one my mom and I used as a kid! Its wait for it...................White Chocolate Thin Mint popcorn. Doesn't that sound heavenly? (And really bad for you? OH WEELLLL!)

The next one is one I am in love with... I am making it for my little angels on Monday! They are Lucky Charms Rice Krispie Treats! They are magically delicious I PROMISE!
1.) Melt 4 tablespoons of butter on medium heat in a pot.
2.) Add 2 and a half cups of mini marshmallows to the melted butter! Stir until its...gooey?
3.) Take 4 cups of Lucky Charms (Its really important to get the REAL Lucky Charms and not the store brand!!!)
4.) Mix it all together and add it to a dish! Try to smooth it out on top!
5.) When they are all cooled off, you can cut and serve them!! :)

The Next one is a drink. Its FABULOUS. And I don't know one person who has said they hate these milkshakes...(If you hate these...I am sorry that your taste buds are defective.) ITS THE SHAMROCK SHAKE!!!
1.) Put 2 cups of Vanilla (NOT VANILLA BEAN!) Ice Cream into a blender!
2.) Add 1 and 1/4 cup of milk on top of your ice cream in the blender!
3.) Use 1/4 of a teaspoon of Peppermint extract. (I like to use a little less than that sometimes! It is really strong!!!
4.) (my favorite part...) Add a couple drops of green food coloring to make it GREEN! The more you put the more green it gets!
5.) Blend that up. The cherry and whip cream are optional and pretty self explanatory!

The last thing was something I saw on the Front of my Mom's All You magazine. I loved it! Its a rainbow cupcake!
1.) Make the cupcakes as the box instructs!
2.) Get your blue icing (If you cant find blue, you can always add food coloring to white icing!) and top the cupcakes with that!
3.) Add a Air Head Extreme (Only a little piece! Obviously not the whole one!!!) to the top and stick each end into the icing and cupcake.
4.) Add mini marshmallows to the ends of the rainbow! You are done!! :)

I hope you can try one of these! If you do take a picture and send it to me! Happy Saint Patricks Day weekend guys!
