Weekend Re-cap! August15-17

If You dont remember who I am or you are mad at me for being away for so long Please see THIS post.
This weekend was a great one.
Friday :: On Friday night I seriously stayed at home and me and Netflix had a nice little date. I watched Hilary Duff's old movie "Beauty and the Briefcase" and thought it was so adorable! You should for sure watch it! (I also wont tell you about the rocky road ice cream I inhaled...)
Saturday :: I got up REALLY late. (We wont speak of how late it actually was...) I did a DIY of a necklace board that I am making! And then I finally finished my Cinderella painting that I have been working on for FOREVER. Cinderella is hands down my favorite fairy-tale!
For those of you that don't know; Aaron has moved about an hour away from where he was living and where I currently live! Not even gonna lie, it stinks. I mean its really gonna stink when he goes across seas on his deployment but we wont talk about that one just yet.
But comparing my new 1 hour and 13.5 second drive, (I counted) to my old seven minute drive it stinks! But anyways last night as soon as I was done with my painting  I drove as the sun was setting and let me tell you, whenever I drive to see him from now on, I will be driving at this time. The view is absolutely BREATHTAKING!

Sunday :: We woke up late and neither of us had to work today. Which is rare because Aaron usually has most week days off and works all weekend. So I was super excited. We got to lay in bed longer than 10 minutes!!! :)
This is Aaron's "I swear this is a fake smile and thumbs up because I hate taking pictures" face.
Then since Aaron's sister and her fiancee didn't have to work today either we decided to go shopping! We didn't do a typical "girls version" of a day of shopping but I still came out with a pretty good haul of stuff!! (and a belly full of the food court Chinese food. I mean that stuff gets me every time.) I ended up getting a pair of Brooks tennis shoes, a dress and workout tank from American Eagle, a new set of paint brushes and...
A Build-A-Bear! Aaron had never been to one...even as a child. So I felt like we should make one. And especially since he is going to be deployed soon. He has a voice box in his hand that says "I love you baby." I am so excited to have something that might make him being gone a little easier! Sunday night we just sat at his sisters house while we were all anti social and played video games and pinterested and blogged! We also snacked on my new found love for hummus. SO GOOD.

I am so glad that I can share parts of my life with you guys again! I really have missed this!

BTW PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS OR THOUGHTS OR SEND ME YOUR GOOD VIBRATIONS ON TUESDAY NIGHT. I HAVE AN AUDITION FOR MY DREAM ROLE.

What was the best part of your weekend? What are your favorite healthy snacks?

He recorded a message for me too. It really helps me throughout the nights that he isn't there next to me. You're gunna be very attached to that dear teddy bear! haha, I sure am to mine.
