Happy New Year!

So Its kinda been long time no talk for the past couple months. I literally have had so much going on...Or I haven't. (I hope you all notice though, that my blog design made a 360 turn around and I would love your feedback on if you think it looks okay! I did it all myself! So I would love any suggestions!) I have changed so drastically in the past months and I know I am for sure not the same person I was when 2014 began. That being said, I wanted to give you guys an update/ maybe make some new resolutions/ goals for the year.

I stated last year that I didn't want this to be boring, so I challenged myself pretty much all year. and I am happy to say I believe I did pretty well! I named 14 things I wanted to accomplish in the year of 2014 and here are the results...
1.) Keep all A's and B's in the two semesters this year.
-SUCCESS! I have a 3.72 GPA (I am doing a hairflip because this semester kicked my tailll.)

2.) Paint my nails more. (I have a million polishes I don't use enough!)
-Winner winner! I have painted my nails a good bit!

3.) Get a tattoo. (I already have what I want and the color. I just have to get brave enough!)
-Fail! But I still want one. The problem isnt fear as much as it is fear of not getting the job I want because of the tattoo I want on my wrist, kinda thing.

4.) Read 20 books because I want to. (Not the boring school ones.)
-Yay! I read 23 books this year!

5.) Travel somewhere I have never been.
-I went to Hawaii!! There are many more but this was my favorite!
6.) Go on at least 2 hikes with Aaron.
-Halfway accomplished. While in Hawaii, we hiked (a lot). So I did hike, just not with my love.
7.) Finish a TV series. (I am in the middle of a bunch; Desperate Housewives; How I Met Your Mother; and I am sure there are more I am forgetting.)
-BOOYAH! I finished DH, HIMYM, and I am halfway through Gossip Girl.

8.) Have lazy days and not kick myself later for them.
-YES! No explanation needed!

9.) I want to learn to knit. or crochet. I am secretly an old lady.
-Unfortunately this one wasn't met.

10.) Make sure to step out of my comfort zone. This is a really broad one.
-This will always be a new years resolution. But I think that I did pretty well with doing things I normally wouldn't.

11.) Wear my hair completely natural one day.
-Still not sure if I will ever be able to leave it COMPLETELY all natural. FAIL.

12.) Get a new phone. Maybe one of the smart variety.
-WOOOO! HEEELLLOOO iPhone!

13.) Try a pinterest project. Or even be the slightest more artsy...
-I got into painting this year and had a blast!

14.) Be happy. Enjoy my life and the things that make it fabulous.
-Yes!

So overall, I think I did pretty good on these! I am not 100% positive on mine for this year; I need a moment to think! When I come up with some, youll be the first to know! Happy new year from me! Love you guys and thanks for a great year!
